Snowboard Technology & Personality

Each FIREFLY snowboard’s very own personality is determined by the selection of technical and performance-specific materials. The geometric profiling, core design and laminate structure with stringer technology guarantee that you’ll have real fun riding our boards. Of course there are different ways to approach the mountain. Either you like a fast and powerful ride, or you prefer cruising, or maybe you are more of a jibber... Some get up super early for those first tracks in virgin pow, others stay up late for a rail session... Whatever your playground and preference – we help you pick the right board for your very own style!

Width

Snowboard Regular Waist

Regular Waist

A regular waist width promotes smooth turns, stability and quickness from edge to edge and enough float and stability up to a size Mondo 27.0 boot.

Snowboard Mid Waist

Mid Waist

A wider waist makes all the difference when stomping landings and getting tech on rails. That’s why we build mid wide boards around a size Mondo 28.0 boot for adult and selected youth boards.

Snowboard Wide Waist

Snowboard Wide Waist

We have widened the waist width on select sizes of some boards to eliminate toe and heel drag. This means also increased float and more landed tricks.

Laminate

Snowboard Triaxial Laminate

Triaxial Laminate

The triaxial fiber layer of 0°, 90° and 45° deliver unmatched levels of responsive pop, lightness and torsional strength.

Snowboard Stringer Carbon X

Carbon X Stringer

The high torque carbon X stringers from the edges at each of the contact points crank up the torsional pop while also adding longitudinal response.

Snowboard Stringer Carbon C

Carbon C Stringer

Two carbon stringers laid on the center from nose to tail add ollie and nollie pop without any unwanted torsional stiffness.
