The right size of your helmet
It is important to choose the right helmet size in order to benefit from the best possible protection.
-
Measure the circumference of your head in centimeters from the forehead (just above your eyebrow) and above your ears to the very rear of your skull with a measuring tape.
-
Avoid dents and pressure points – the helmet should evenly fit the shape of your head.
-
The helmet must always be properly fastened: The chinstrap must be securely closed under the chin.
-
A correctly worn helmet must not sit too far forward or back on the head. It has to be snug and comfortable and shouldn’t wiggle; at the same time it must not be too tight or cause painful pressure points.
-
Don’t forget to bring your goggles. If they push the helmet up, the helmet is too tight.
-
Check your adjustments every time you use the helmet.
- Children’s helmets should always be checked by an adult to ensure that they are positioned correctly with the chinstrap buckle closed.

Care and Maintenance
Treat your helmet with care to ensure that it will give you protection for years to come. Therefore, please observe the following precautionary measures.
-
Clean the helmet only with water and mild soap. Petroleum products, cleaners, lacquers, adhesives and similar products may damage the helmet and its protective qualities, even though this damage may not be visible.
-
Do not apply paint or lacquer of any type to the helmet.
-
Do not leave your helmet in a car or close to direct or indirect heat sources. High temperatures (over 40°C) may cause the plastic shell to melt. Damage of this nature is not covered by the guarantee valid from the date of purchase.
-
When storing your helmet, make sure that it is protected against constant sunshine, impacts and pressure from other objects.
-
After use, air-dry your helmet in a well-ventilated place. Do not use a hair dryer or other type of dryer or source of heat.
-
To clean the inside, use a very mild soap and a sponge on the padding and do a spot cleaning only. Do not use chemicals.
- Do not try to remove the liner to clean it and never put your helmet in the dishwasher, washing machine or any other mass cleaning appliance.
